BreastScreen Victoria
BreastScreen Victoria is a government funded mammography screening program in Australia for women without breast symptoms or breast problems.  The Program aims to detect breast cancer early in its development when treatment can be most effective.

Cancer Australia
The Commonwealth Government has established Cancer Australia to help reduce the impact of cancer for all Australians.  Its key role is to provide national leadership in cancer control and improve coordination of, and collaboration between, all stakeholders, including people affected by cancer, health professionals, researchers, cancer and other community organisations, and governments.

Cancer Institute NSW
The Cancer Institute NSW was established in July 2003 through the Cancer Institute NSW Act 2003 as a response to the need to further decrease the devastating impact of cancer on our society.The Cancer Institute NSW is charged with substantially improving cancer control in NSW.

The Centre for Analysis of Rare Tumours 
The Centre for Analysis of Rare Tumours (CART-WHEEL) is the first ethically-approved web portal for consumer-driven research, coordinating patient information, research studies and clinical trials. It has been designed for patients with rare tumours, or with defined molecular subtypes of common tumours for whom targeted therapies are being developed.CART-WHEEL is inviting people from all over the world to submit information about their tumour so that researchers can develop new insights into understudied rare tumours. CART-WHEEL has been developed by BioGrid Australia, approved by the Melbourne Health Human Research Ethics Committee and funded by a Consumer Grant from the Victorian Cancer Agency.

Integrated Cancer Services
A major theme of the Cancer Services Framework for Victoria is an integrated approach to service delivery, which focuses on delivering the right treatment and support to patients, as early as possible in their cancer journey.

The Cancer Services Framework for Victoria outlines an integrated service model for metropolitan and regional cancer services based on the following principles:

  • services will be population based
  • individuals will have access to the full range of services from prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, supportive care and palliative care
  • referral pathways are clearly defined for the range of services required
  • care is multidisciplinary and coordinated
  • high quality care requires a 'critical mass' of expertise and leadership.

Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research
The Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Ltd is an international non-profit organisation that aims to improve the understanding and treatment of cancer through integrated laboratory and clinical research.

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is Australia's most comprehensive and internationally acclaimed centre for cancer treatment and research. 

Victorian Breast Cancer Research Consortium
The Victorian Breast Cancer Research Consortium Inc. is a consortium formed between eight Melbourne medical research institutes and the Cancer Council Victoria.  It was established in 1997 by the Victorian State Government to conduct world class fundamental breast cancer research.

Victorian Prostate Cancer Research Consortium
The Victorian Prostate Cancer Research Consortium (VPCRC) is a dedicated research-based consortium established in 2008.  It incorporates the majority of prostate cancer researchers in the state and will foster strategic partnerships between these researchers to link cancer research with clinical practice.

Victorian Cancer Biobank
The Victorian Cancer Biobank is a not-for-profit consortium of Tissue Banks, supported by the Cancer Council Victoria and the Victorian Government.
